Tanjung Bruas Port, 6 January 2026 – Tanjung Bruas Port (“TBP”) continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) through its annual “Back to School” programme. This year marked the fourth consecutive year of collaboration with Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari, MITC Ayer Keroh branch, reinforcing a meaningful partnership dedicated to supporting the local community.
A total of 100 children from underprivileged families, including Asnaf, Fakir and Miskin from areas surrounding Tanjung Bruas Port as well as the Pantai Kundur constituency, received essential school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school session in mid-January. The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on parents while bringing joy, confidence, and motivation to the children as they begin the new academic year.
The programme was further enriched with a lunch gathering at Restoran Marrybrown MITC, where the children dined together with TBP staff, representatives from JAPERUN, as well as members of JPKK Tanjung Kling and JPKK Pengkalan Perigi. The atmosphere was made even more vibrant with the presence of YB Datuk Tuminah Kadi, ADUN Pantai Kundur, who warmly engaged with the children and shared in their excitement.
Tuminah expressed her appreciation for TBP’s continued efforts in supporting community welfare, highlighting that such initiatives not only provide financial relief to families in need but also reflect TBP’s strong sense of social responsibility and dedication to uplifting the well-being of the local community.
Through its CSR initiatives, TBP reaffirms its commitment to supporting the community and driving positive social impact, with plans to continue these efforts in the future.
