WHAT IS STEP / AEP?
- STEP stands for Short-Term Entry Permit, which can be obtained by individuals working for or with any company within Tanjung Bruas Port's area for a duration of three months or less.
- Annual Entry Permit (AEP) is only applicable for individuals who will be working in the Port's area for a period of four to twelve months.
APPLICATION OF STEP & AEP
- Submission of application and issuance of STEP and AEP shall be made at the Security Service Centre (SSC) during operating hours.
- Applicants can obtain the Application Form at the Security Service Centre (SSC) or by filling out an Online Application Form. Click here to access the Online form.
DOCUMENTS ADVISORY
- Local (Malaysian) applicants are required to bring along their valid National Identity Card for verification.
- Foreign Applicants are required to bring along their original Passport and Work Permit with a set of photocopies to the Security Service Centre (SSC).
- Applicants who will be working within the Tanjung Bruas Port's Operational areas are required to attend a Safety Induction prior to the issuance of the STEP / AEP.
- Applicants must ensure that the application form issued by the Security Service Centre (SSC) has the original stamp from the company.
CHARGES / FEES
STEP
- Daily pass: RM 1.00 per person
- Three months pass: RM20.00 per person
- Safety Briefing: RM5 per person
AEP
- Annual pass: RM30.00 per person
- Safety Induction: RM20.00 per person
